On November 5, 2002, a majority of Leon County voters approved the proposed Leon County Charter which became effective on November 12, 2002. Article II, Section 2.2 (6) of the Leon County Charter provides " that the Board shall adopt an administrative code in accordance with general law." The following documents are the ordinance and resolution approved by the Board on October 28, 2003 adopting the Leon County Administrative Code.
