Question/Topic: Are medical examiners reports considered public record? How can I get a report?
Answer/Pointer: Medical examiners reports are considered public record. To request a copy of a report, contact the Medical Examiners Office in the county where the death occurred. If you need an address or telephone number, the Medical Examiners Commission in the Florida Department of Law Enforcement can provide this for you. You can reach that office at (850) 410-8303.
