Transportation in Florida accounts for 40% of greenhouse gases, making alternative transportation options an essential part of a sustainable community. Leon County supports the work of the Capital Regional Transportation Planning Agency, CRTPA and is planning to develop a transportation strategy to create more transportation options. Additionally, Coordination with the Tallahassee Leon County Planning Department which manages the development of all transportation plans will be an integral part of the county’s efforts.
