Where can I take my Electronics?

The Leon County Solid Waste Management Facility accepts electronics from residents at the Recycling Building located at 7550 Apalachee Parkway, Monday through Saturday 8 AM to 5 PM.  If you bring more than 1 Television OR 1 Computer System per trip you will need to go over the scales and a tip fee may be charged on the items you bring in.  Please ask the scale house staff to direct you to the drop off.

We encourage businesses to recycle their electronics as well.  You can bring material to the Recycling Program, located at the Solid Waste Management Facility, Monday-Saturday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  If you need someone to help you unload your materials, please come Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Businesses requiring a Certificate of Recycling must make an appointment to get that certification. Please fill out the following Appointment form and fax it to the Recycling Services & Education program at 850-606-1801.  Please call 850-606-1823 with any questions.

There will be a tip fee of $75.00 per ton of electronics dropped off. The first 60 pounds are $2.00, charges are pro-rated - 1,000 pounds will be $37.50. This is a small price to pay for protecting Florida's water quality.
