Water quality data is currently stored in two Access databases. The Access
database labeled Leon_WQ_Data (14.6 MB) consists of five tables. The “Leon
County Stations” table contains descriptions and locations of sampling stations
that are currently being sampled in Leon County. Some of these stations will
overlay the stations located in the Leon_WQ_Historic_Data database. The table
“Water Quality Data (Lake Data starts June 2006)” contains ambient stream, and
lake data (lake data includes data collected after May 2006). The “Biodata”
table contains Stream Condition Index (SCI) scores and interpretation for
various streams in Leon County. The “Leon County NPDES Program” table consists
of data collected for Leon County’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination
System (NPDES). The “Sediment Data” table contains data associated with lake
sediments.
The 2nd water quality database is labeled Leon_WQ_Historic_Data (4.6
MB). The “Leon County Historic Water Quality Stations” table contains
descriptions and locations of sampling stations in Leon County associated with
the historical water quality data. The “Historic WQ data” table contains lake
water quality data (1988-May 2006) associated with the aforementioned stations.
As more data is added, this database will continue to be modified and expanded.
