Description:
The Miccosukee Communtiy Center is located almost at the end of Centerville Road and Veterans Memorial Highway. The Center was built as a barrack to house soldiers at Dale Mabry Field. When the base closed the people of Miccosukee dismantled the barrack and in the late 40's it was moved to it's present site. Local folks volunteered their time, talent and money to renovate the building. The land had previously been donated for use in conjunction with a community center. Amenities include, one main room and a nice size kitchen with a stove, sink and refrigerator. This site is frequently used for reunions, parties,weddings, and community sponsored activities. There is a complete audio visual system available for use without an additional charge and a DVD/VCR player.We provide tables (16 6 ft., and 7 8ft.) and chairs (150). After each event the patrons are required to put the tables and chairs back where they were found. Rental time includes set up and decorating time. All trash must be bagged and placed in the dumpster. A staff member will be present to open and close the center on the date of your event.

Any group reserving a meeting room must have an adult (18-yrs. or older), parent or legal guardian in the room at all times that the room is occupied. Alcohol, tobacco products and firearms are prohibited.  We are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
