Description:
The Fort Braden Community Center originally was constructed for use as a schoolhouse and opened for the first time in 1927. In 2004 the building was designated as a Florida Heritage Site. It is located on Highway 20 in the Western section of Leon County. The building and pavilion are available for rent and the fees vary depending on space and time requested. The main building boasts a complete kitchen and dinning room. It can accommodate large groups and is popular for weddings, showers and reunions. Community activities are frequently booked in the main building. Individual rooms are also available for rent. The screened pavilion includes a number of grills and picnic tables. The pavilion is most often reserved for small gatherings and it is adjacent to playground equipment and a basketball court. We provide tables, (23 6ft.) and chairs( 99). Rental time includes set up and decorating time. After each event we require patrons to put the chairs and tables back where they were found. All trash must be bagged in placed in the dumpster. A staff member will be present to open and close the center on the date of your event.

Any group reserving a meeting room must have an adult (18-yrs. or older), parent or legal guardian in the room at all times that the room is occupied. Alcohol, tobacco products and firearms are prohibited.  We are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
