What park do I play
at?
The way Little League boundaries are set-up, you play
at the park closest to your home. For exact boundaries please
contact the Mike Crow, District Administrator, at 575-1147.
Where are the parks?
Chaires-Capitola
Community Park, 4768 Chaires Cross Road; Northwest Leon,
Canopy Oaks Community Park, 3250 Point View Drive; Fort Braden
Community Park, 15100 Blountstown Highway; Woodville Community
Park, 7575 Old Woodville Highway; Miccosukee Community Park, 15011
Cromartie Road.
What do I need to bring to registration?
A copy of each participants birth certificate,
proof of residence (copy of utility bill), and payment (cash or check only).
What are the different age groups?
5-6 year olds play Tee Ball. If you
have played one year of Tee Ball though, you are eligible for Coach
Pitch which is comprised of 7-8 year olds. 9-12 year
olds play Minor or Major league Baseball and Softball. Minor
and Major is determined by age and/or ability. 13-14 year olds
play in the Junior League Division, and our oldest group is the
Senior League with 15-16 year olds.
When are the practices and games?
Each park is different and each season is
different, but for the most part games and practices are on week
nights after 5:30pm, and on Saturdays.
How long is the season?
The Tee Ball and Coach Pitch seasons run approx.
6-8 weeks with 1 game a week. The Minor through Senior Leagues
run 6-8 weeks with 2 games a week. Minor through Senior League
players are also eligible for Little League All-Stars which runs
throughout the Summer.
How do I become a volunteer coach, manager, or
umpire?
Bring a copy of a valid government issued photo
I.D. (a copy of your driver's license would be fine), and fill out
the needed forms at registration.
