The
Apalachee Regional Park cross-country
venue promises to attract top local,
regional, national and international
talent with its fast surface, scenic
beauty, and accessibility. The Gulf
Winds Track Club is excited and thankful
to have been able to work with FSU and
Leon County in so many ways in order to
bring this marvelous running venue to
fruition!

Welcome to an outstanding running, hiking, and biking trail that was made possible by a joint effort of County and private partnerships.
This new track and trail system will provide the running community the premiere site in the northern section of Florida. Teams from all over the state of Florida and Georgia will be looking forward to running on this trail system.
Leon County has always been an outstanding venue
for cross country events and greenways trails. With
the opening of the Apalachee Regional Park Trail,
the County now has the location that runners dream
about. This trail was designed and built with the
running public working side by side with the county.
To make it the jewel that it is, took a lot of
effort and love by everyone involved in creating
this premiere track and trail.
So come out and enjoy your newest facility built for
the citizens of Leon County.
