Library cards are free to all
Leon
County residents.
Non-resident
fees for a library
card:

$10 for three months.

$30 for one year.
Library cards are valid at all
LeRoy Collins Leon County Public
Library
service outlets.
Library cards may be obtained by presenting identification verifying current name and current Leon County address. These forms of ID are accepted:

Driver's license.

Florida identification card.
-
Automobile registration.
-
Checkbook.
-
Recent utility bill or deposit receipt.
-
Recent cable television bill.
-
Recent telephone bill.
-
Lease or dormitory agreement.
-
Rent payment receipt.
-
Property tax bill.
A parent or legal guardian must be present to sign for children under 18,
or must complete a notarized consent form.
Cardholder's responsibilities:

Protect your card!

Cardholders are responsible for all materials checked out on their
cards.

Address and phone number changes must be reported immediately by
coming to the library with proof of new address.

Lost or stolen cards must be reported immediately.
Renewals

Every two years your library card
will need to be renewed.
At
that time, library staff will confirm or update your address, phone
numbers, e-mail address and other information in our records.
There is no charge to renew library cards.

Non-resident fee cards can be
renewed as needed.
