   The Friends of LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library support the library through fundraising and other programs.

   Some of the activities the Friends offer include:

• The Author Dinner, which occurs each Spring:

• the Junior Author event, click picture for slideshow of events;

• sales of donated books; and

• other special programs.

   The Friends also have a gift shop, "The FriendShop", in the Main Library. The FriendShop hours are: Monday through Friday - 10:00am to 4:00pm; Saturday - 10:00am to 4:30pm, Sunday - closed.

   For more information about the FriendShop, call 850 / 224-3290. To become a member of the Friends of the Library, fill out the application located in the brochure racks in the library. Individuals may join the Friends for as little as $25.00 per year. Businesses may also become members.
