Family Planning

Service Description

A federally funded program designed to provide comprehensive voluntary family planning services.  These services include:

• education and referral, 
• counseling, 
• medical services (diagnosis, treatment, contraceptive drugs, supplies devices, laboratory examinations, medical procedures such as voluntary sterilizations), 
• genetic counseling and follow-up activities.  

Family Planning services are available in both clinic sites. Contraceptive devices available include:

• condoms, 
• birth control pills, 
• Depo-Provera injections, 
• Norplant implants, 
• IUDs,
• diaphragms, and spermicides.  

Abstinence and natural family planning counseling is also available.
