A curriculum developed by ex-smokers for
those who want to become ex-smokers themselves.
Classes are held regularly at various

Burning Curiosity
A Burning Curiosity is coming soon to your
fifth grade class! The Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science in
partnership with the Leon County Health Department is currently offering an
educational experience like none other on the topic of Tobacco Prevention!
These educational
experiences will be taught in fifth grade classes elementary schools around

The Leon County Health Department is utilizing
Wahi Media’s patent pending technology to bring “The Ugly Truth about
Smoking” to youth across Leon County.
TheUglyTruth.org is an interactive
web-dialogue that stars youth from Leon County in a discussion with other
youth about tobacco.

Students Working Against Tobacco
Students Working Against
Tobacco (SWAT) is a youth-led, anti-tobacco activism club. In Leon
County there are currently clubs in 13 of the 16 Middle and High Schools.
The Leon County Health Department is coordinating with the Leon County
School Board to establish SWAT Clubs in the remaining schools.
