Compost sale: In honor of Earth Day, Leon County Recycling and the City of Tallahassee Solid Waste Services joined together in sponsoring another “Earth Machine” Compost Bin Truckload Sale this past April. Last year, Earth Machines were offered at a significantly discounted price. Composting is not only a great way to reduce your garbage by up to 30%, but it also is a natural nutrient rich fertilizer and soil amendment.
