Talquin Electric Customers
If you are a Talquin Electric Member, you may report outages automatically by calling 1-866-899-4832 or by calling to speak to a person at 1-888-802-1832. In large outage times it may be much faster to report the outage automatically since the automatic system can handle more calls at a time. Outages may also be reported via the internet using laptops with air cards or using PDAs and cell phones with browser capabilities. These handy devices usually work well even in the worst weather conditions. Also, in a major storm event, some families take refuge with friends and family outside of the region. Our internet outage reporting system allows a Member to log on and check the status of the power at their home or business and get an update on the estimated restore time. To report an outage, simply go to www.talquinelectric.com and use the “Report an Outage Online” link and enter your phone number or account number. You may enter an email to receive notifications estimating when your service has been restored or enter a phone number to get a phone call when the power is back on.
