Leon County Commissioners Celebrate
The New Woodville Community Center with Groundbreaking
Ceremony
The much-anticipated Woodville
Community Center is one step closer as the Board of
County Commissioners “dug in” during an official
groundbreaking ceremony the morning of Jan. 11, 2006.
Chairman Ed DePuy lead the ceremony,
joined by Commissioners Jane Sauls, Bill Proctor, Cliff
Thaell and John Dailey, Leon County staff, and members
of the Woodville community.
Citizens who had contributed to the planning
process participated in the groundbreaking ceremony and
had the opportunity to see architectural renderings of
the future community center.
