Thank you for your interest in Leon County advisory committees. Citizen participation, by way of community input, advice, and/or recommendations regarding matters to be brought before the Board for approval, is important in developing Leon County’s programs/policies, and in providing quality, effective, and efficient delivery of public services to the community. This is an opportunity for residents to get involved in an advisory capacity.
Any resident of Leon County who would like to be considered for appointment to one of the boards, councils, or committees listed on this Web site should click on the “Application for County Appointments". We recommend that residents research the various advisory boards and their meeting schedules to determine what time commitment is involved for committee members. To complete the application process, the form can be filled out online and submitted via e-mail or printed out and mailed. Any person appointed to a committee is required to complete “Orientation and Training”, which can also be found online.
For more information about advisory committees and position openings, please contact Christine Coble, Agenda Coordinator, at: (850) 606-5300 or
