Bryan M. Desloge earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
and Real Estate from the Florida State University in 1983.
Mr. Desloge is the President of Desloge Home Oxygen & Medical Equipment, a
Tallahassee company that specializes in providing durable home medical
equipment and respiratory services. Since 1992, Mr. Desloge has rapidly
grown and expanded the company and was included in the prestigious INC. 500
List, which recognizes the fastest growing privately held companies in the
United States.
Prior to starting his own company, Mr. Desloge spent over 10 years with IBM
in the Florida Panhandle working with public sector accounts in an
administrative and marketing capacity.
Mr. Desloge participates in many professional and charitable organizations.
He currently services as a board member of the Jim Moran Institute;
Southeaster Community Blood Center (treasurer); FSU School of Business,
Board of Governors; Florida Association of Counties Board. He has served on
the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce and the Leon County American Red
Cross as a board member and past chair of both; the Goodwood Board; the
Senior Center Foundation; as well as many others. He is a graduate of
Leadership Tallahassee and Leadership Florida. Mr. Desloge has taken a
personal interest in the community and services with prominent community
leaders as a board member of Knight Creative Community Initiative
implemented through the Village Square Board organized to aid in the
development of a more authentic, sustainable and prosperous community.
In a questionable lapse of judgment, Mr. Desloge ran in 2006 for the office
of Leon County Commissioner for District IV and won. He currently serves as Chair of the Leon County Commission and participates in many community
organizations as the County’s Board representative, including the
Tallahassee Economic Development Council; Capital Region Transportation
Planning Agency; Community Redevelopment Council; Healthcare Advisory Board,
and others.
Mr. Desloge is a native of Tallahassee and a graduate of Leon High School.
He and his wife, Beth, have four children: Elizabeth, Lina Marie, Marcella,
and Patrick. Through his involvement with the many organizations to which he
donates his time, he strives to improve the quality of life in the community
he loves. Outside of his professional and volunteer life Mr. Desloge stays
active running, traveling and skiing.
