Commissioner Bryan Desloge was elected to the Board in November, 2006. As a Tallahassee native, Commissioner Desloge cares deeply about Leon County. He decided to run for the District 4 seat to strive to make this community better for future generations. His priorities include, but are not limited to: enhancing economic development, improving Bannerman Road, developing a Northeast Park, and improving City/County relations.

Commissioner Desloge is the President of Desloge Home Oxygen & Medical Equipment, a Tallahassee company that specializes in providing durable home medical equipment and respiratory services. Since 1992, Commissioner Desloge has rapidly expanded the company and was included in the prestigious Inc. 500 List, which recognizes the fastest-growing privately-held companies in the United States.

Commissioner Desloge participates in many professional and charitable organizations. He served as the 2006 Chairman of the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce, as well as on the executive board of the Senior Center Foundation, Southeast Community Blood Center, and many others. Commissioner Desloge has taken a personal interest in the lack of affordable housing available to seniors in the Tallahassee area and heads up a committee of concerned leaders working on this issue.

Commissioner Desloge earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Real Estate from Florida State University in 1983. He is also a graduate of Leon High School. He and his wife, Beth, have four children: Elizabeth, Lina Marie, Marcella, and Patrick. Through his involvement with the many organizations to which he donates his time, he strives to improve the quality of life in the community he loves. Outside of his professional and volunteer life Commissioner Desloge stays active running, traveling and skiing.
