The cover of the FY2002/2003 Operating and Capital Budget depicts a night 
scene of the Leon County Courthouse. The picture also captures a magnificent 
view of the World War II Memorial located on the Courthouse grounds. 
The Board of County Commissioners, local veterans and other members of 
the community dedicated the World War II Memorial on November 11, 2001. The
actual memorial was funded completely through private donations
