This program identifies the incidence and prevalence of
diseases in selected population groups through organized surveillance
efforts. Surveillance activity includes:
monitoring the occurrence of reportable diseases
providing comprehensive case management to
individuals in sensitive situations
investigating and intervening during communicable
disease outbreaks
providing on-going educational programs for the
community on various communicable diseases

Epidemiology education, investigation and follow-up
Tuberculosis detection, education, treatment, case management
and follow-up
