Electronics Collection Events

Hazardous Waste and
Electronics Collection Events are held on the first
Saturday of the month between September and May. We can also
be found at the City of Tallahassee's Cash-for-Trash events every
April and October.
You don't have to
wait! The Hazardous Waste Center is open six days a week. |

longer contain mercury and are not hazardous and can be put

We DO NOT accept medical (including
sharps), pharmaceutical, or radioactive materials at remote collections.
UPCOMING SPECIAL EVENT
Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Florida Department of Health,
Southern Waste Information Exchange, City of Tallahassee and Leon County
will host a medicine collection event on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Mahan Dr. Costco.

Hazardous waste from non-household sources (business, agency, church or
organization) are not accepted at Collection Events. Disposal of non-household hazardous waste is by appointment only at the Hazardous Waste Center.
Fees will apply.
For citizen and staff safety, Collection
Events are weather dependent and may be cancelled or
postponed in the case of adverse conditions. We will make every effort to
reschedule as soon as possible and information will be updated as it becomes available.
