Radio Communication Request for Proposal (RFP)

On February 8, 2008, the PSCB authorized the publication of the Request for Proposal for an APCO Project 25 Phase I 800 MHZ System. In addition, the PSCB authorized the issuance of formal letters to MA/COM and Motorola. The PSCB requests that MA/COM provide the criterion established for capacity, coverage, and subscriber units in order to become part of the State Law Enforcement Radio System (SLERS). The letter to Motorola requests a proposal to install an analog upgrade to the current existing system.

On February 14, 2007, the RFP and letters were issued. All proposals are due within 120 days.
