Life Philosophy: |
|
I believe in each
human’s inherent good nature; and in our collective capacity
to do good. I believe “variety is the spice of life” and
that God made us all different so we can complement each
other. I believe in the value of hard work; respect for each
other and lending a helping hand. |

| Background |
|
I was born in Lagos,
Nigeria on October 12, 1959; moved to the United States in 1982 and
to Tallahassee in 1986.
While at the University
of Minnesota, I worked as a research associate and “community
architect” on a number of urban development studies; sociological
approach to design and community improvement projects. During my
Master of Architecture Studies at FAMU and my four years with
Sizemore Floyd Architects in Atlanta, I worked on National Energy
Studies, Florida Uniform Code Development; wrote my thesis on
sustainability; developed Facilities Management and building
inventory systems. I have written white papers and have
international volunteer and research experience in Nigeria, Kenya,
and Jamaica.
