Attorney qualifications to become a Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediator include:

1. Florida Supreme Court Civil Circuit Certified;
2. Proof of Training to Mediate Foreclosure Cases;
3. Attorney in good standing with the Florida Bar;
4. Extensive law practical experience in Real Estate through litigation or mediation;
5. Reside or principle place of business in the Second Judicial Circuit of Florida.
6. Participate in an interview before a 3 person Selection Committee consisting the Second Judicial Circuit's Director of Alternative Dispute Resolution Services, a representative from the Program Manager (Tallahassee Bar Association, Inc.), and a representative of the Legal Aid Foundation, Inc.

What you need to do:

• Complete the attached Registration Form and return it with a check in the amount of $249 to the Legal Aid Foundation;
• Complete the Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Managed Mediation Online Training with score of 70% prior to June 23, 2010;
• Read through the 6 modules;
• Take the quizzes and email results to the Program Manager by Jun 23 through the provided link (please be sure to include your name on the subject to ensure credit).
• Keep a hard copy of your quiz answers.
• Get credit for 8 CME or 7 CLE hours by attending the June 24, 2010, 9 am - 5 pm training session located at the Leon County Courthouse ;
• Once you have mailed in your payment and registration form you can begin.
